Smile Education, Northwest is recruiting for a full time Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our Primary School in Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience within a school, whilst utilising your current experience and qualifications.

This Teaching Assistant position is full time, so you must be able to commit to 5 days. This school have a personalised their curriculum to ensure that their children are covering essential content whilst achieving a depth and breadth to their learning.

This enables and empowers all children to use and apply their skills and understanding in all areas of the curriculum and build on their own opportunities.

As a Teaching Assistant it is important to know about the EYFS that the curriculum has 3 prime areas of learning: Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Communication and Language, and Physical Development. For this role, it is important you know about these areas. The outcomes of each of these areas form the basis of your planning for learning and children's progress.

You must already have…

• Experience working with children.
• Some SEMH experience is welcome.
• Graduates are also welcome to apply.
• Hold a valid UK qualification, working with children and young people – beneficial.

Immediate start available.

• They can offer security with this role as it is a long-term position for at least 1 academic year but will most like continue.
• Starting from March 2024.

The successful candidate must have:

• Level 3 Children and Young Peoples Workforce– or equivalent.
• 2 education-based references
• A passion for teaching / supporting.
• Good approach to behaviour management
• A determined, hard-working attitude
