Job Description: Teaching Assistant

I’m currently working with a close-knit, friendly school in Chichester (PO19) to recruit a Teaching Assistant for a Year 3 class. The role is temp to perm and the school are happy to consider candidates who are immediately available or available to start in June 2024.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils 1:1 or in small groups to help them with their academic work
  • Provide 1:1 support to with children with SEN & additional needs
  • Guided Reading
  • Model positive behaviour to children both inside and outside the classroom
  • Motivating and encouraging pupils
  • Create display boards to showcase high quality work
