Working Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm

Salary: £12.82 per hour

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a lovely primary school in Cardiff. We are seeking a dedicated professional to support a reception class as a general classroom support. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing a positive and engaging learning environment for the pupils.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide general classroom support to the reception teacher and students.
  • Assist the teacher in delivering lessons and engaging students in their learning.
  • Support individual students or small groups of students with their learning activities.
  • Help maintain a safe and organised classroom environment.
  • Assist with the preparation of teaching resources and materials.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a primary school setting is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their educational development.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A positive and proactive attitude towards work.
