Core responsibilities include:

  • Support learning – Support pupils in class, and small group and 1:1 intervention sessions.
  • Provide feedback – Provide pupils with valuable and timely feedback to aid in their development.
  • Review work – Participate in the assessment process by marking work.
  • Give demonstrations – Deliver demonstrations for practical work, advising on the required skills, methods and techniques.
  • Be effective – Familiarise yourself with course material, continually develop your skills and undertake training to enable the best support for pupils.
