Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support students with complex and severe learning difficulties. This role will involve working alongside class teachers as well as other Teaching Assistants to ensure students achieve the best outcomes. As a HTLA, you will be responsible for assisting children in developing their knowledge, skills and understanding both academically and socially. As this role involves working closely with students, applicants must be able to build strong professional relationships to encourage development.

Other responsibilities of the role include:

-          Assisting with medical needs of pupils.

-          Supervising students during break times.

-          Providing constructive feedback to students on their progress.

-          Communicating with parents regarding students’ progress.

-          Experienced in supporting students with SEN.

-          Attend meetings and training days to support the role.

This is a full-time position with the opportunity to secure a permanent role subject to a probationary period. From Teaching Personnel you will receive, pay related to experience, continued CPD training as well as a consultative relationship with a Recruitment Consultant who will actively represent you.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
