Teaching Personnel are looking for a dedicated and creative English Teacher to teach KS3 & KS4 classes in one of our fantastic Partnership Secondary Schools.

There is the need for an English Teacher Full Time from May (or earlier if possible), with the view to remain in the school on a permanent basis for the right teacher. A strong knowledge of the English curriculum and passion for the subject is essential for this role; as well as a passion for inspiring your pupils’ interest in English Literature & Language to support their learning and development. The school is passionate about creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that would be equally ideal for a NQT looking for somewhere to develop their career, or an experienced Secondary English Teacher looking to take the next step.

 

The Role:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and fulfilling English Literature and Language lessons that suit a range of abilities and year groups.
  • Work as part of the wider English department to deliver the National Curriculum as well as representing English Literature and Language within the school with aim to develop students’ passion in the subject.
  • Carry out additional pastoral duties including parent’s evenings, marking etc.
