Job Title: Teacher of Design and Technology

Location: Basingstoke

Position Overview: Are you a dynamic and innovative educator with a passion for Design and Technology? Are you committed to preparing students for their future careers in a rapidly evolving world? We are seeking a talented Teacher of Design and Technology to join our forward-thinking school in Basingstoke. This is a full-time, temporary to permanent role, with the possibility of considering long-term supply arrangements in the interim.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Design and Technology, ensuring all teaching is future-focused and aligned with the school's ethos of making students future-ready.
  • Foster creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills through hands-on practical activities and project-based learning.
  • Engage students in exploring a range of disciplines within Design and Technology, including but not limited to Resistant Materials, Graphics, Textiles, Electronics, and Product Design.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Design and Technology across any discipline within the subject area.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their potential.
