  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 students in line with the national curriculum
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students, parents, and colleagues
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports the academic and personal development of all students
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
  • Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development opportunities
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Previous experience teaching Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 students

  • Thorough understanding of the national curriculum and educational best practises
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Proficiency in using technology to enhance teaching and learning
  • Postgraduate certificate in Education
  • Experience working in a multicultural school environment

The role involves working full-time hours in a school setting, collaborating with colleagues, students, and parents. Occasional attendance at meetings and professional development sessions may be required. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
