Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for Supply Teachers to support our client schools in Manchester with an immediate start.

The salary for this position will be between £130 and £150 per day.

If you are a ECT, interested in gaining experience working in multiple schools in the Manchester area, this would be an ideal role for you. Through this position, you will be able to work flexibly, being in control of your own diary, allowing you to balance other commitments. You will be able to work in different schools across Manchester, Teaching Personnel are currently working with 95% of schools across Greater Manchester, creating great opportunities for you to work as much as you would like to. If you decide that you would like to work within one school on a more permanent basis, there will be opportunities through Teaching Personnel.

In order to be cleared to work within any of our client schools, you must complete the Teaching Personnel registration process. You must be able to apply for a fully enhanced DBS check, once this check has been completed, you must also place this onto the Update Service to ensure that it remains an active and accurate check. You will also be required to complete a short, online training course to ensure that you are fully aware of any safeguarding procedures.

As a supply teacher, you will be responsible for supporting pupils when their regular teacher is unavailable due to sickness or personal reasons. It is essential that the pupils still receive the same level of support during lessons to ensure that they are still gaining a good understanding of the subject. Typically work is prepared by the school, however, occasionally you will be required to assist with the planning and marking responsibilities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
