Join our dedicated team in Bolton as a Sports Coach, where you'll harness the power of sports to foster growth, resilience, and confidence in our exceptional students. As a crucial member of our SEMH provision, you'll play a pivotal role in nurturing physical well-being alongside emotional and mental health.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Tailored Sports Programs: Design and deliver engaging sports activities tailored to meet the diverse needs of SEMH students.
  2. Mentorship: Provide mentorship and guidance, promoting teamwork, discipline, and self-esteem through sports.
  3. Transportation: Utilize your driving skills to transport students to and from sports venues, fostering independence and accessibility.
  4. Collaboration: Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to integrate sports into holistic support plans for students.
  5. Empowerment: Empower students to overcome challenges, develop resilience, and achieve personal and academic goals through sports.

Requirements:

  • Passion for working with young people with SEMH needs.
  • Demonstrable experience in coaching and facilitating sports activities.
  • Valid driving license and willingness to transport students.
  • Flexibility, patience, and excellent communication skills.
  • Relevant qualifications or willingness to undergo training.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
