A well-regarded and praised secondary school in Preston require a Modern Foreign Languages Teacher who specialises in Spanish up to GCSE level. The successful Spanish Teacher will be able to commit to a full-time timetable from May 2024, and will be confident in teaching Spanish in classes of up to 25 pupils.

The successful Spanish Teacher will have the drive and desire to provide a consistently outstanding education to all pupils. You will be passionate about Spanish and delivering varied, engaging and interactive lessons to encourage pupils to enjoy your subject. You will be someone who shares the same ethos and values, and you will work collaboratively across the departments to ensure pupils receive the best education possible in a supportive environment.

The successful candidate must be:

  • Someone who is passionate about Spanish and languages
  • Determined to secure outstanding progress and attainment with all groups, particularly at KS4
  • Evidence of good to outstanding teaching and results
  • Excellent leadership skills and competencies
  • Have a commitment to support enrichment programmes and additional learning by facilitating co-curricular clubs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
