We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Tutor to join our team in Croydon, Greater London. This is a temporary position with Part-Time hours, focusing on providing support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in an educational setting.

  • Develop and implement individualised education plans for students with SEN
  • Provide tailored support and assistance to help students achieve their learning goals
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students with diverse needs
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary
  • Collaborate with other educators, parents, and support staff to ensure the overall well-being and development of students
  • A relevant qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN) or equivalent
  • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of students

A degree in Education or a related field is required. Additional training or certification in SEN would be advantageous.

Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a similar role, preferably within an educational setting.

  • Understanding of various learning disabilities and how they impact students
  • Knowledge of SEN policies and procedures
  • Ability to use different teaching techniques to support students with SEN
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently

The role of SEN Tutor involves working Part-Time hours on a temporary basis. The position is based in Croydon, Greater London, within an educational setting.

The salary for this position ranges from £20 to £25 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
