Education and Training

£20 - £30 Per hour

  • Work 1:1 with students who are in Key Stage 3; bridging gaps in their learning and understanding in English and Maths.
  • Manage challenging behaviour in students
  • Tailor tutoring sessions towards learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
  • Support learners who are working below their age expectations
  • A teaching qualification
  • Experience working with young learners
  • Knowledge of UK educational standards and curriculum
  • A degree in Education or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in tutoring or teaching
  • Experience working with students with SEN and SEMH needs
  • Strong understanding of different learning styles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans
  • Additional certifications in Special Education or Behaviour Management
  • Experience in working in a school setting
  • Work in the pupils home on a one-on-one basis
  • Full-time hours with flexibility in scheduling

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
