SEN Teaching Assistant:

-          SEN Experience needed.

-          Experience within a secondary school.

-          Full Time role.

-          08:30-15:30.

-          Preston.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a lovely Secondary school within Preston, Lancashire as a SEN Teaching Assistant. This role will be to support children with ADHD, therefore strong behaviour management is essential for this role. Experience supporting children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is desirable however not necessary.

Roles/Responsibilities:

-          Working closely with the schools SENCO.

-          Using targeted learning plans to support the children within the class.

-          Using behaviour strategies within the class.

-          Strong understanding of how to support children with ADHD.

-          Knowledge of ADHD and the triggers.
