Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with an SEN school who have specialised facilities for children with additional needs and are looking for teaching assistants and individuals who have experience working within educational environments to take on full-time positions.

Within this role, you will work with different children in small groups or on a 1:1 basis to provide them with support that they need inside and outside of the classroom. You will work with other staff including teaching assistants, teachers and SLT to ensure each child has the individualised support that they need. You will also provide feedback to parents and to anyone else who needs to be provided with information about students’ progress.

For this role you should:

  • Have previous experience within a school or support role with children with additional needs
  • Have knowledge on different ways to individualise support within an educational setting.
  • Have a range of availability so that you are able to cover when needed
  • Be available for the full school day (8:30-4:00)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
