Education and Training

  • Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their learning and development
  • Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored lessons for SEN students
  • Providing one-on-one support to students with SEN to help them overcome learning barriers
  • Assessing and monitoring the progress of SEN students and reporting back to the teacher
  • Implementing individual education plans (IEPs) for SEN students
  • Creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students
  • GCSEs in English and Mathematics
  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Knowledge of SEN support strategies

Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN
  • Experience in a similar role within an educational setting
  • Understanding of various Special Educational Needs and how they impact learning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Patience and empathy when working with SEN students
  • First Aid certification
  • Mental Health First Aid training
  • Work within a school setting
  • Regular interaction with students, teachers, and parents

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
