Position: SEN Teaching Assistants

Location: Manchester

Start date: 8th April 2024

Contract type: Full time (long-term and short-term roles available)

Pay rate: £12.82 - £14.00 an hour

A mainstream primary school in the Manchester area are currently looking to recruit multiple candidates for the role of a SEN Teaching Assistant. This excellent school works closely alongside parents, students and the community with the intention of achieving solid, trusted relationships. They provide a caring and safe learning environment for children, with a ‘GOOD’ Ofsted rating in all areas!

Long-term roles available

•              Full-time positions (Monday-Friday, 8.30am-3.30pm)

•              Required to commit to the school on a long-term basis

•              Interested in securing a permanent role

Short-term roles available

•              Part-time and/or full-time positions (Varied/ ad-hoc days - 8.30am-1.00pm/ 12.00pm- 3.30pm/ 8.30am-3.30pm)

•              Would be covering emergency/ scheduled absences

Role requirements:

•              Experience of working with children and young people with SEN needs.

•              Will take a passionate and proactive approach to the role.

•              A creative and inspiring thinker.

•              Will be resilient, able to take initiative and work in a challenging but highly rewarding environment.

•              Able to provide 1-1 support to individual pupils as well as small groups of pupils with SEN
