SEN Teacher

  • Work as part of a supportive multi-disciplinary team
  • Plan and deliver inclusive and engaging lessons for children between the ages of 5-16 years.
  • Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school
  • Engage students who struggle learning in a typical classroom setting

PLEASE NOTE: This role is not immediately permanent; however there is an opportunity of gaining a permanent contract with the school through an introduction with Teaching Personnel. You will also need a Full UK Driving License and own transport, due to the rural location of the school.

This demanding but rewarding role will require you to teach autistic pupils in KS2, KS3 and KS4. Class sizes are small and the curriculum is personalised, to significantly enhance the quality each child’s education. The school itself is built on a large area, with masses of outdoor space for the children. Staff at the school work hard to make sure that pupils have regular trips to their local amenities too; encouraging students with life skills and the local community is a big driver at the provision!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
