Salary: £80 - £90 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Supporting secondary school students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their learning and development
  • Assisting teachers in planning and delivering tailored lessons for SEN students
  • Providing one-on-one support to SEN students during classes
  • Helping to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Relevant certification in Special Educational Needs (SEN) support

Education:

  • Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools

Experience:

  • Prior experience working with secondary school students with SEN
  • Experience in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for SEN students

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of different types of SEN and their impact on learning
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work in a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
  • Additional training in behaviour management strategies for SEN students

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position with regular school hours
  • Working closely with teachers and SEN coordinators
  • Supporting students in various classroom settings
