Smile Education are delighted to be working alongside a dynamic and thriving primary school based in south Birmingham. We are currently looking for a Reception Teacher to join this friendly team from May 2024.

We are currently seeking a Reception Teacher to join this welcoming team from May 2024 until the end of the academic year, with a scope to extend further for the right person. The successful applicant will be carrying out all usual roles and responsibilities associated with a class teaching position, including marking and planning. There will be a primary focus on phonics and supporting pupils in accessing phonics curriculum, prior to their move into Year 1 in the new academic year.

This a fantastic opportunity for both experienced Class Teachers and Early Career Teachers. The school is located in south Birmingham, within proximity to Kitts Green, Martson Green, and Lyndon Green. The expected salary range for the position is between £140- 190 per day, depending on experience level.

What to expect from applicants?

We would like applicants to hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Both experienced Class Teachers and Early Career Teachers are encouraged to apply. Applicants must be confident in delivering phonics curriculum and supporting pupil performing below ARE, working closely with TA’s.
