Exciting Opportunity for RE Teachers based within Southampton! Starting April 2024

Teaching Personnel is delighted to announce a fantastic opportunity for passionate and dedicated RE Teachers. We are currently recruiting for a maternity cover role, set to begin in April 2024 and last for 12 months.

Role: As an RE Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality Religious Education lessons to students, following the school’s curriculum. You will be teaching students about different religions, beliefs, and values, fostering a respectful and open-minded learning environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lesson Planning: Develop and implement effective lesson plans that meet the learning objectives and needs of all students.
  2. Teaching: Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that facilitate learning and student participation.
  3. Assessment: Assess and record student progress and provide grades and feedback.
  4. Classroom Management: Maintain discipline in the classroom and create a positive learning environment.
  5. Collaboration: Work closely with other staff members, participate in departmental meetings, and contribute to the overall functioning of the school.
  6. Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development to continually improve teaching skills and stay current with the latest teaching strategies and educational trends.
