Key Responsibilities:
*Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater specifically to students with SEN.
*Assess and record students’ progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual and group needs.
*Collaborate with other staff members to implement and refine the school’s curriculum.
*Actively participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.
*Foster a positive, empathetic, and supportive classroom environment.
*Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and other professionals regarding student progress and well-being.

Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
*Proven experience in teaching English, ideally within an SEN setting, although candidates with a strong interest in SEN are encouraged to apply.
*A thorough understanding of the current curriculum and strategies suited to the engagement of students with diverse learning needs.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*A commitment to ongoing professional development.
*Enhanced DBS check.
