Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant – High Peak

Have you recently completed your Psychology degree and looking for an opportunity to utilize the skills and knowledge you’ve learnt?

Are you currently in the High Peak area and hoping to build your experience up working with students who require additional support throughout their school life?

If so, Teaching Personnel are currently working with a Secondary school in the High Peak area that are wanting to appoint a full time Teaching Assistant to support students who are underachieving within the classroom environment.

Overview:

  • £1400 - £1600 per month dependant on experience.
  • FREE CPD and training courses.
  • Easy transport links to reach the site as well as on sight parking.
  • Future teaching opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who need extra help.
  • Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist with classroom management and behaviour support.
  • Contribute to the assessment and evaluation of student progress.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Psychology or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for working with young people and helping them to achieve their potential.
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Psychology graduate who is looking to gain experience in education and make a positive impact on the lives of young people. The position is full-time, term-time only, and the salary will be commensurate with experience.
