Education and Training

£80 - £90 Per day

  • Provide support to primary school students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their learning and development
  • Assist the class teacher in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) for students with SEN
  • Support students in accessing the curriculum and adapting materials as needed
  • Monitor and record student progress, behaviour, and participation
  • Collaborate with other school staff and outside agencies to support the holistic development of students
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Experience working with children or individuals with SEN

Relevant qualifications in Education or SEN support are desirable

Prior experience in a similar role is preferred

  • Understanding of SEN and different learning needs
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team
  • Patience, empathy, and resilience
  • Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
  • Training in specific SEN interventions or strategies
  • Work primarily within a primary school setting
  • Regular interaction with students, teachers, and parents
  • May involve physical tasks such as assisting students with mobility challenges
  • Full-Time hours, temporary position with the potential for extension
