The Headteacher and governing body of a reputable Primary School located on the outskirts of Bootle are currently recruiting a dynamic EYFS/KS1 teacher to join their well-established Infants team. This is a full-time teaching commitment, and the role will be based within a EYFS/Y1 class made up of 28 high achieving pupils who are eager to learn.

The Headteacher in school is committed to life-long learning, therefore welcomes all teaching staff and support staff to participate in half-termly CPD; SLT are well respected by staff, parents and pupils. The Headteacher has supported the current post-holder in their application for management positions, which has led to their success in securing a Senior role at another school from January – leaving a permanent vacancy at the school. This is an excellent opportunity to work within an over-subscribed Primary School serving a pleasant catchment area where there is generally very little movement in staffing. This school boasts excellent facilities that offer children the best opportunities to learn and develop from EYFS-KS2.

This school welcomes applications from EYFS and KS1 teachers with all levels of experience, and we committed to securing an ambitious practitioner who wants to spend less time on paperwork and more time developing creative learning opportunities for children. You will be engaging, calm, resilient, and have an innovative style of teaching and a commitment to upholding and maintaining existing standards. The successful applicant will also be supported by a full time Teaching Assistant. The ability to deliver high quality Phonics teaching is essential for this role.
