Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Feedback: Regularly assess student progress and attainment, providing timely and constructive feedback to support ongoing growth and development.
  • Behaviour Management: Establish clear expectations for behaviour and conduct within the classroom, implementing effective behaviour management strategies to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborative Engagement: Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and stakeholders to support student learning and well-being, fostering a strong sense of community and partnership.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Hold QTS and possess relevant experience teaching in primary schools.
  • Year 4 Experience: Demonstrate experience or a strong interest in teaching Year 4, understanding the developmental needs and curriculum expectations of this age group.
  • Curriculum Knowledge: Have a strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and proficiency in planning and delivering effective lessons across subject areas.
  • Classroom Management: Exhibit strong classroom management skills, creating a positive and structured learning environment conducive to student success.
  • Passion for Education: Demonstrate a genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to the academic and personal growth of every student.
