Part Time, Year 2 Teacher in Bristol

Are you looking for a teaching role in a friendly village school but do not want to work 5 days a week? If so, you are in the right place. A welcoming school on the outskirts of South Bristol is looking for a year 2 teacher to join their team until the end of the academic year on a part time basis.

This role will require a strong, year 2 class teacher with good assessment for learning techniques, who will be able to effectively differentiate learning for a variety of needs in the class. Your teaching days will be Mondays, Tuesdays and Friday and you will be provided with weekly PPA time to plan and prepare lessons for the class. This role would be perfect for an ECT who would like to gain confidence in a calm classroom environment where they can focus on developing their teaching.

The successful candidate will have:

• UK qualified teacher status,
• Experience of working as a teacher within the last 10 years,
• ECTs are welcome to apply for this role,
• Be able to differentiate content for pupils with SEND,
• Have good behaviour management,
• Be able to utilise formative and summative assessment to maximise pupil progress and prepare them for SATs.
