The Role: As a Mathematics Teacher, you will have the opportunity to engage and motivate students across various age and ability levels, delivering dynamic and enriching lessons that promote a deep understanding of mathematical concepts. You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback to support their development. Additionally, you will contribute to the wider school community through involvement in extracurricular activities and collaboration with colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons that inspire and challenge students.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners and ensure all students reach their full potential.
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to promote active learning and problem-solving skills.
  • Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback to students and parents.
  • Maintain accurate records of student achievement and progress, following school policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum initiatives and enrichment activities.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, collaboration, and a love of learning.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognized teaching qualification.
  • A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.
  • Experience working with secondary school students preferred but not essential.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
