Full time role starting ASAP

Moving onto a school based contract

A primary school in Manchester are looking for a confident Teaching Assistant to work in their KS2  classes as a general Teaching Assistant. The role is long term position starting ASAP and moving to a school based contract for the right person.

The school, graded “good” by the new OFSTED framework. This two form entry school has a friendly atmosphere and has an extremely supportive staff structure. The role be general class support but also consist of 2 hours PPA cover a week, so being confident in taking a full class is a necessity.

The successful candidate would need to have a minimum Cache 3 qualification or a graduate with school based experience. They will work well in a team, be enthusiastic about pupil achievement and have some experience working in Key Stage 2. They will want to learn how to assess pupils’ progress and have high expectations of themselves and the pupils in their care. They would have a good understanding of the national curriculum and be confident in both Maths and English. You will have a caring and nurturing nature with high expectation of behaviour.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
