Education and Training

£130 - £195 Per day

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons to Key Stage 1 children
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback to parents and senior staff
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning strategies
  • Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development opportunities
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with Key Stage 1 children
  • Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
  • Strong behaviour management skills

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a primary school setting

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage time effectively
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Additional training in special educational needs (SEN)

The role involves working in a school setting, following term-time schedules. Some flexibility may be required for extracurricular activities and events.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
