Role Overview:

As a KS1 Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of our Key Stage 1 students. You will deliver engaging and stimulating lessons that ignite curiosity and foster a love of learning. Through creative and differentiated teaching strategies, you will support the academic, social, and emotional development of each child, laying the foundation for their future success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver dynamic and interactive lessons across the Key Stage 1 curriculum, catering to the individual needs and interests of students.
  • Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued, respected, and encouraged to achieve their full potential.
  • Use a range of assessment methods to monitor student progress and provide timely feedback to inform teaching and learning strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement a broad and balanced curriculum that inspires curiosity and promotes lifelong learning.
  • Foster positive partnerships with parents/guardians, keeping them informed about their child's progress and involving them in their education journey.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school community through participation in extracurricular activities, events, and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (KS1) within a primary school setting.
  • A genuine passion for working with young children and a commitment to their academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the diverse needs of learners.
  • A reflective practitioner mindset, with a willingness to engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
