Are you passionate about shaping young minds and fostering a love for the humanities? Our school in Rochdale is seeking a dedicated Humanities Teacher to inspire and educate our students.

You will support one of our busiest secondary schools in Rochdale, supporting in their humanities department. This is a full-time role, with a permanent role available at the end of the year.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach engaging and challenging lessons in Humanities subjects (History, Geography, Religious Studies)
  • Plan and deliver creative and differentiated lessons to meet the needs of all learners
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Contribute to the development of the Humanities curriculum
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Degree in a Humanities-related subject
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for the Humanities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students
  • Experience working with diverse student populations (preferred)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
