Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Location: Beeston, West Yorkshire, Yorkshire and the Humber

Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time

Primary Industry: Education and Training

Salary: £13.50 - £15.00 Per hour

  • Supporting teachers in planning, preparing, and delivering learning activities
  • Providing one-to-one or small group support to students
  • Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support
  • Supervising students during lessons and breaks
  • Assessing student progress and providing feedback to teachers
  • Recognised HLTA qualification
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • First Aid certification
  • Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Prior experience working in a school setting
  • Experience supporting students with special educational needs
  • Understanding of the national curriculum
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Experience in leading educational activities
  • Normal working hours, 8:30am-4:30pm
  • Work within a school environment
  • Potential exposure to challenging behaviour
