Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support students with SEN. This role involves supervising classes during the short-term absence of teachers, working alongside teaching staff to plan and prepare resources as well as encourage students to achieve their full potential.

The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting students with diverse learning needs or disabilities, including managing behavioural or emotional challenges. At least two years of experience working with children, ideally in the educational setting is required. Applicants should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students, teachers and other teaching assistants. They must also be patient and emotionally resilient. Whilst naturally challenging, this role is greatly rewarding.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
