Pay: £90 – £120 per day (dependent on experience)
Start Date: Summer Term with long-term opportunities available from September

Smile Education is recruiting experienced HLTAs and Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistants to support specialist schools and alternative provisions across South Birmingham.
This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced support staff who are passionate about helping children with additional needs achieve their full potential within nurturing SEN environments.
The Role
- Provide classroom, small-group and 1:1 support for pupils with SEN.
- Support students with Autism, ADHD, SEMH and communication needs.
- Deliver intervention sessions and tailored learning activities.
- Support teachers with lesson preparation and classroom delivery.
- Encourage positive behaviour, engagement and emotional wellbeing.
- Build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- Support pupils’ independence, confidence and social development.

Requirements
- HLTA qualification or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
- Previous SEN experience essential.
- Understanding of Autism and additional learning needs.
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
- Patient, professional and caring nature.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
