Position: History Teacher

Location: Bushey, Hertfordshire

Teaching Personnel are looking for a History teacher based within the Bushey/Watford area who can start after the school Easter break 2024.

The role would involve the successful candidate teaching History to both KS3 and KS4 classes and would also involve planning and marking. It would run from Easter until the end of June 2024. This is also a 5-days a week (full-time) role so we require a candidate with an open and flexible schedule. Some of the other details and requirements are listed below.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • Bachelor's degree in History or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a secondary school setting.
  • Demonstrated expertise in teaching history at the secondary school level.
  • Proven ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire and motivate students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students.
  • A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
