Teaching Personnel have joined a plethora of Bury-based primary schools in their search for a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their passionate and communal faculties. This role would involve general support across all primary years, working across EYFS, KS1 and 2 depending on a particular school’s demands. This position would span for the rest of the academic year. Upon registering with Teaching Personnel, the Teaching Assistant would be able to begin earning straight away on a Timesheet basis. Roles will involve supporting class teachers while upholding a supportive environment for pupils of all ages and backgrounds.

About the role:

  • £83.33 - £90 per day through PAYE
  • No Umbrella Company or agency fees
  • Primary Schools located in and around Bury
  • Full time roles
  • Monday-Friday 8:30am – 3:30pm
  • Paid on a timesheet basis through Teaching Personnel
  • Opportunity to work with multiple Primary year groups
  • Immediate start following registration with Teaching Personnel
  • Some opportunities to move onto a long-term school contract after a successful trial period

Schools are seeking Graduate Teaching Assistants with specialisms that can support pupils as they assimilate back into schools. These roles are generally full-time, spanning Monday to Friday, generally 8:30am-3:30pm. However, some part-time positions are available, perfect for those who are studying as a post-graduate or wanting reduced hours as they organise their life as a graduate.

English:

  • A great opportunity to implement lingual and literal knowledge through developing basic skills, phonics and literacy skills.

Maths:

  • The chance to develop basic skills and develop mathematical knowledge through group or one-to-one work, igniting passion for your field from a young age.

Psychology:

  • Develop your knowledge and understanding by providing an empathetic and trusting relationship with children, including those with SEN and SEMH needs.
