Graduate Teaching Assistant Opportunity, Chorley, Lancashire (PR6)

-          Graduate TA Roles - May 2024 Start.

-          Applicants must hold or be working towards a degree in Education or a core subject.

-          Full time learning support positions, from May - July 2024 with potential to move into September 2024.

Teaching Personnel are working alongside a client primary school in Chorley, Lancashire (PR6) to recruit three graduate Teaching Assistants to work across the schools EYFS, KS1 and KS2 departments. Due to an internal staffing restructure, the school are looking to appoint graduates who are looking to develop their careers in education whilst enhancing the learning experiences for children across this larger than average, 2 form entry, Primary School. The roles will start in May 2024 and will be on- going for the remainder of the academic year and moving into September 2024. The school are looking to appoint for these positions on a temporary basis. 

Applicants will be qualified to degree level and will have a passion for working with children. Prior experience in a primary environment would be beneficial but isn’t essential as training and support will be provided by the schools ‘GOOD’ senior leadership team. This ‘community centred’ school was graded ‘GOOD’ over all at it’s last OFSTED inspection and was praised for ‘the continual progress that children make’. The school is dedicated to ‘making learning FUN’, whilst celebrating ‘diversity, team work and uniqueness’.  The Head Teacher and senior leaders of the school are looking for ‘fun but firm’ teaching assistants who will fit in to the ‘warm and friendly’ ethos of the school.
