Are you an experienced Food Technology graduate looking to start a career in teaching?

Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a full-time Food Tech teacher to join our partner school based in Rochdale OL12. They are looking for someone to start after the February half-term, for the remainder of the academic year. The school are willing to offer full support to those who do not obtain a PGCE, and this is a great opportunity for those thinking of a career in teaching, as it offers unrivalled PAID experience within an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ secondary school.

The role

You will be supporting the current HOD to deliver both theoretical and practical lessons to both KS3 and KS4 students of varying abilities.


The ideal candidate

  • Recent graduate within food based subject OR previous experience of teaching in similar capacity.
  • Previous experience working with children (desirable)
  • Obtain a DBS certificate or be willing to apply for one.
