  • Plan and deliver English language lessons to students
  • Assess students' language abilities and provide feedback
  • Create engaging and interactive learning materials
  • Adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
  • Relevant qualification in English language teaching
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students

Degree in English Language Teaching or related field

Minimum of 2 years' experience in teaching English as a second language

  • Strong understanding of English grammar and syntax
  • Ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners
  • Proficiency in using technology for teaching purposes
  • Knowledge of SEN teaching strategies
  • Additional certification in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL)
  • Experience teaching English to adults

This role involves working on a temporary basis with part-time hours. The English Tutor will be based in Greater London, City of London. The tutor will work closely with students, parents, and other educational professionals to deliver high-quality English language instruction.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
