We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced English and Maths Tutor to join our team in the field of Education and Training. This is a contract position with an expectation to work full-time hours.

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective English and Maths lessons to students.
  • Assess the educational needs of individual students and develop personalised learning plans.
  • Provide support and guidance to students to help them improve their understanding and skills in English and Maths.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly to ensure learning goals are met.
  • Collaborate with other educators and parents to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievements.
  • A relevant degree in Education or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred but not essential.
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching English and Maths to students of varying abilities.

Previous experience in teaching English and Maths to students of varying abilities.

  • Strong knowledge of the English and Maths curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to tailor teaching methods to suit individual student needs.
  • Organisational skills and the ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience in tutoring or mentoring students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
