Education and Training

£12.90 - £15.00 Per hour

  • Plan and implement activities to meet the individual needs of children in the early years setting
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and develop
  • Observe and assess children's progress, and communicate effectively with parents/carers
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification or equivalent
  • Valid DBS check
  • First Aid certification

Minimum of a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification

Previous experience working with children in an early years setting

  • Understanding of child development and early years curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Level 4 Early Years Practitioner qualification
  • Specialist training in areas such as SEN or safeguarding

This role involves working with children in an early years setting, following a set schedule and ensuring the well-being and development of the children. The work environment may be lively and at times demanding, requiring patience, flexibility, and a passion for working with young children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
