We are currently seeking a dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire. As an Early Years Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to young children in an early years setting.

  • Plan and implement activities that stimulate children's learning and development
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
  • Observe and assess children's progress and communicate with parents/guardians
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive learning environment
  • Adhere to safeguarding and health and safety regulations
  • Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification or equivalent
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Paediatric First Aid certificate
  • Demonstrated experience working with young children in an early years setting
  • Sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • SENCO qualification
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs

This role involves working full-time hours on a temporary basis. The working environment may be fast-paced and require flexibility to meet the needs of the children and the setting. The successful candidate will be expected to adhere to all relevant policies and procedures.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
