Pay: Starting salary point on the MPS / UPS negotiable

Our client academy seeks to appoint an engaging and ambitious Design an Arts teacher, who possesses the drive and determination to nurture and develop their aspirational students, commented by Ofsted  ‘Pupils behave well. They are polite and courteous’.

A well-respected school located closely to the centre of Northampton. Public transport is an option with the school being located near good bus links. In addition to this, the school offers a large car park for all staff and teachers on arrival.

The role of Design Technology Teacher is open to applicants who are looking to start September 2024, or sooner if possible. The school are requiring a passionate, highly motivated educator who can deliver both design technology and art lessons.

Your role

A design and Technology educator who carries high expectations of themselves and others, possessing resilience and motivation to manage day to day challenges

  • Knowledge of the Design Technology and Food Curriculum and assessment
  • The ability to develop a philosophy of high aspiration and expectation for every student
  •  The ability to analyse performance and to articulate reasons behind successful achievement and poor performance and successfully address this.
