Design and Technology

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Design and Technology teacher to join our client secondary school located in Stockton.

As the successful candidate, you will be expected to deliver outstanding lessons and demonstrate a flair for teaching and learning. You will have high expectations for standards and achievement and be open to new and innovative ways of teaching.

The Successful candidate will be flexible, collaborative, and resilient, with a strong commitment to promoting positive behaviour management. This is a full-time position, teaching KS3 and KS4 students. You will work closely with other members of the department to ensure a cohesive and supportive working environment. We offer a competitive salary in line with the MPS/UPS scale, ranging from £30,000 to £46,525 per annum dependant on experience.

• Deliver outstanding lessons to students.
• Lead a full timetable and take on full planning and marking responsibilities.
• Show a flair for teaching and learning, and a passion for Design and Technology.
• Have high expectations for standards and achievement.
• Be flexible, collaborative, and resilient in your approach to teaching.
• Work closely with department members to promote positive behaviour management.

Requirements:

• UK qualified QTS or completed by May 2024
• Must be able to provide a DBS on the update service/willingness to apply for an enhanced DBS (child workforce only)
• Be able to provide references from your teacher training.
