The PWR team at Teaching Personnel is excited to partner with an Academy in Chatham, Kent, currently seeking to fill two senior leadership positions. This presents a rare and exciting opportunity for passionate educators to join a supportive team dedicated to shaping the future success of the academy.

Deputy Headteacher (Inclusion)

In this role, you will play a crucial part in fostering an inclusive, tolerant, and positive culture within the school. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing an ethos of high expectations for both staff and students.
  • Leading on student welfare, personal development, attendance, and inclusion initiatives.
  • Taking ownership of inclusion, behaviour, attendance, and admissions policies, ensuring consistent implementation.

Deputy Headteacher (Curriculum and Academic Standards)

As the strategic lead for curriculum and academic standards, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality academic outcomes across the academy. Responsibilities include:

  • Designing a curriculum that maximises achievement for all learners.
  • Creating and managing the school timetable efficiently.
  • Leading on assessment and ensuring the use of data to inform interventions and promote student progress.
