Cover Teacher

Location – Hereford

Hours – 830am – 330pm

Pay – Starting from £130 per day.

Start date - April 30th.

A well-known school in Hereford are currently looking for a teacher to provide general cover throughout the school. The school is situated in the south of Hereford and is easily accessible from close links such as the A465.

As a Cover Teacher you will be expected to work with pupils from the age of 11 – 16. You would be not expected to take charge of any marking or planning for the lessons so your main duties will be to follow instructions and make sure a class of students are working to the best of their ability.

Roles

  • You should be comfortable in front of a classroom and able to deliver a plan outlined by the teacher.
  • Provide positive support and be a role model for the students.
  • Supervising and monitoring pupils’ behavior and learning
  • Communicating with students and teachers throughout the school.

Requirements

  • Enhanced DBS cleared or willing to apply.
  • Qualified teacher status including NTS.
  • Be able to provide 2 references.
  • Available to interview within the next 2 weeks
