Salary: £157.66 per day

Hours: 8.30am – 3pm

Teaching Personnel is seeking a skilled Supply Teacher to provide high-quality teaching across all subjects at a reputable secondary school. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on students' education while enjoying the flexibility of supply teaching.

Preferred candidates will possess a minimum of 1 year of teaching experience. However, we also accept applications from newly qualified teachers. The ability to seamlessly adapt to various classroom environments. As this is a large school with a diverse student and faculty population, actively immersing yourself in the environment and building relationships with both students and staff is of utmost importance.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons across a range of subjects to pupils aged 11-16.
• Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment.
• Follow the school's policies and procedures, including lesson planning and assessment.
• Adapt teaching methods to cater to the individual needs and abilities of students.
• Provide constructive feedback to students and communicate progress to the relevant staff.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualifications.
• Enhanced Child Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance.
• Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
• Safeguarding trained.
• Be able to provide 2 references.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
