Teaching Personnel are seeking a motivational Biology Teacher to grow the minds of Secondary School Students within a laboratory setting by arranging and delivering engaging lessons meeting with the UK curriculum. 

Location: 

East Midlands, Lincolnshire, Grantham

Job Type: 

Permanent, Full-Time, Secondary Education

Salary:

£160 - £200 Per day

Role Requirements: 

  • Plan and deliver engaging biology lessons to students
  • Develop and implement curriculum and lesson plans
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress
  • Provide constructive feedback to students and parents
  • Organise and supervise laboratory work
  • Participate in departmental meetings and school events

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Biology or related field
  • Teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent)
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Education: 

Bachelor's degree in Biology or related field

Knowledge and Skills: 

  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for biology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and engage students
  • Good classroom management skills
  • Organisational and time-management abilities

Working Conditions: 

  • Typical school hours with additional time for lesson planning and assessment
  • Classroom and laboratory environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
