Behavioural Support Tutor Expiring soon

TP tutors are seeking engaging an enthusiastic QTS teachers/ tutors to support pupils on a 1:1 basis. The majority of our current placements are supporting pupils awaiting school placements, as such tuition often takes place in the home environment or out in the local community. We currently have availability across Milton Keynes we are looking for tutors ideally based in close proximity of this area.

Recently we’ve seen an increase in demand for specialists in core subjects (English and Maths) and have opportunities to support primary and secondary pupils. So, we welcome teachers from any background.

Pupils may need tuition for a variety of reasons, including-

• Behavioural difficulties (pupils excluded from school / awaiting a new placement)
• Emotional needs including school phobia or anxiety
• Medical needs
• Improvement in grades
• Support with GCSE preparation
• Relocation and awaiting a school placement

Requirements-

• QTS or a minimum two years teaching experience; ideally with a core specialism ( English or Maths
• Experience working with primary or secondary aged children
• Experience working with children in a tuition capacity (desirable)

• Online classroom platform- to enable you to deliver online tuition to students in a virtual environment. This platform offers all the tools you will require to deliver online tuition and is recorded for safeguarding purposes and for revision purposes.
• Hourly rate of £25- £30 which is paid weekly
• Access to free safeguarding and CPD courses as well as free access to assessment tools and resources.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
